Obiective turistice

Cu peste 80 de plaje raspandite de-a lungul coastei, Mallorca este locul perfect pentru vacanta, indiferent de varsta.

Magaluf este frecventata de tineri, mai ales ca Punta Ballena este aproape de cluburi si baruri. In jurul insulei Mallorca, veti descoperi multe plaje si golfuri ascunse printre stanci, ideale pentru familii numeroase sau romantici.

Palma Nova este un loc popular pentru plaja, in timp ce Portals Nous este aproape de Marineland. In interiorul Parcului Natural Mondrago, se afla plaja S’Amarador, renumita pentru peisajul salbatic si nisipul alb.Palma, capitala insulei Mallorca, are cateva plaje excelente. Localnicii prefera sa mearga la C’an Pere Antoni si Badia de Palma. Bellver este cel mai faimos si frumos castel din Palma de Mallorca. Construit intre anii 1300 – 1310, castelul are o forma circulara, cu 3 turnuri in forma de semi-cerc si alt turn inalt de 7 metri. Cu arcade frumos decorate si arhitectura in stil gotic, Bellver este un loc interesant de vizitat.

Catedrala La Seu este simbolul orasului Palma de Mallorca si una dintre cele mai frumoase edificii din Spania. Construita in stilul gotic, catedrala are 121 metri inaltime si 55 metri latime. Intrarea se face printr-p usa laterala, care este in apropiere de un mic muzeu. Lumina intra printr-un vitraliu de 12 metri, decorata cu 1236 piese de geam colorat. Coloanele sunt buclate, decorate cu niste candelabre din fier forjat, realizate de Gaudi. Cea mai controversata realizare a lui Gaudi este coroana neterminata de spini, suspendata deasupra altarului.

Chiar langa Catedrala se afla La Llotja, un important centru cultural, ce gazduieste expozitii de arta. Construita intre anii 1420– 1452, cladirea este un exemplu reusit de arhitectura gotica. Sculpturile cladirii sunt impresionante.Muzeul Majorca este unul dintre cele mai frumoase de pe Insulele Baleare. Acest muzeu faimos se afla langa Catedrala La Seu si are in patrimoniu artefacte preistorice. Intrarea este gratuita.

Alte muzee care merita atentia dvs. sunt: Muzeul de Arta Contemporana (pe langa sculpturile si tablourile unor artisti necunoscuti, puteti admira lucrarile lui Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro lui Salvador Dali), Muzeul Krekovic (opere ale faimosului artist croat Kristian Krekovic) si Casa Muzeu Joaquim TorrentsLlado (artist spaniol renumit).

Palau de l’Almudaina se afla vizavi de intrarea in Catedrala, iar initial a fost o cetate construita de catre guvernatorii mauri.

Aflat pe malul marii, Palau de l’Almudaina a fost resedinta musulmana pentru Banu Ganiya. La inceputul secolului XIV, la ordinul regelui Jaime II a fost transformat in palat. Astazi, aici se afla Capitania General (oficiul portului Insulelor Baleare). Mallorca este renumita pentru minunatele sale pesteri, care au devenit o atractie populara pentru toti turistii care vin in vacanta aici. Pesterile au incaperi uimitoare, spatioase, cu lacuri impresionante si stalactite si stalacmite enorme. Desi sunt peste 200 de pesteri, un numar mic dintre acestea este deschis publicului.

Aquacity se afla in resortul S’Arsenal din Mallorca, in partea de est a Palmei. Cu numeroase piscine, tobogane de toate felurile si locuri de joaca, Aquacity este o atractie populara pentru copii. Aquacity este deschis in fiecare zi, intre orele 10.00 – 18.00 (iulie, august) si 10.00 – 17.00 (septembrie – iunie).

Marineland este una dintre cele mai populare atractii din Mallorca, datorita show-urilor cu delfini si lei de mare. Pe langa aceste spectacole frumoase, la Marineland puteti admira cea mai mare colectie de serpi din Europa, un circ cu papagali, acvarii cu pesti exotici si crocodili.

Portul Mallorca este o atractie fascinanta. Yacht-uri de lux, feriboturi si catedrala La Seu din apropiere formeaza un tablou deosebit. In apropiere de port se afla un restaurant excelent, unde puteti admira apusul soarelui.

Placa Major se afla in centrul statiunii si a fost construita in secolul XIX. Piata este inconjurata de restaurante, cafenele si magazine de suveniruri. Placa Major este animata de muzicieni si artisti care ofera show-uri trecatorilor. In Placa Major veti putea gasi un centru comercial subteran si o parcare.

Placa d’Espanya este inima transporturilor publice din Palma de Mallorca. In centrul pietei se afla statuia lui Jaime I, cuceritorul insulei Mallorca. De aici pleaca trenuri spre Soller si Inca si autobuze spre statiuni si resorturile de lux. Daca doriti sa aveti parte de o calatorie aparte spre Soller, va invitam sa va urcati la bordul trenului vintage.

Passeig d’es Born este principala promenada a orasului si este flancata de marea albastra si palmieri. Passeig d’es Born formeaza o axa ce porneste spre diferite directii ale orasului. De aici puteti ajunge usor la magazine, restaurante, cafenele sau baruri.

Mallorca este renumita pentru mestesugurile lucrate manul, care au ajuns piese traditionale, adesea cumparate ca suvenir. Un bun exemplu sunt popularele ” siurells” – vase de lut ancestrale, colorate in nuante vii, care pot fi folosite si ca fluiere.

Cele mai frumoase perle le veti gasi in orasul Manacor. Cu o traditie de peste 100 ani, artizanii de aici fabrica perle din solzi de peste, reusind sa redea fidel aspectul perlelor naturale.Pe langa aceste figurine, din Mallorca mai puteti cumpara ceramice, bijuterii din aur, argint sau lucrate manual, costume traditionale, vase de lut, obiecte de decor din fier forjat, genti, portofele sau haine din piele naturala.

Cele mai multe si mai frumoase magazine se afla in Palma de Mallorca, pe strazile San Miguel, Carrer Sindicato, Jaume II, Jaume III, Carrer Platería, Vía Roman si Passeig des Borne. In apropiere de primarie, pe strada Plaça Cort veti gasi alte magazine interesante.

Viata de noapte

Viata de noapte din Mallorca este linistita, ideala pentru suete lungi, o bere sau o cina tarzie. Oamenii ies in oras pe la ora 10 seara, iar barurile sunt deschise pana la 3 – 4 dimineata.Dupa miezul noptii, cluburile din Palma, cea mai aglomerata si frumoasa statiune, devin neincapatoare. Viata de noapte din Palma este superba, cu numeroase cluburi si baruri pe plaja, unde petrecerile dureaza pana dimineata. Cele mai multe baruri se afla pe stradutele inguste din preajma Placa Llonja si Santa Catalina.

O alta zona renumita pentru pub-urile sale si atmosfera prietenoasa este El Arenal, de unde va recomandam: Bier Koenig si Mega Park. Cele mai multe branduri de beri, peste 100 de marci, le veti gasi la barul Lorien. Costa Galana este un bar elegant, unde se asculta muzica jazz.Pentru muzica live mergeti la Cafe Barcelona sau L’Havanna.Daca vreti sa va petreceti noaptea in club, incercati Tito’s, cel mai popular club din Palma de Mallorca.

Alte cluburi ce merita atentia dvs sunt: RIU, Joy, Pleasure, Pacha Mallorca, Garito, Jahfarai(ritmuri de reggae, ska si dub), Black Cat(club gay),Abaco.


Valencia, gradina raiului

La plimbare cu bicicleta prin gradina Raiului. Asta ar fi o scurta descriere a scurtei mele vacante in Valencia, orasul portocalilor si orasul in care s-a nascut scriitorul Blasco Ibanez. Am simtit orasul prietenos de cum am iesit din aeroport. Am inspirat adanc, ca sa miros orasul. Imi place sa fac asta in fiecare loc nou in care merg, acel miros imi ramane pe veci intiparit in memoria olfactiva. Valencia mirosea pregnant a must proaspat de struguri rosii

De la aeroport am luat autobuzul ( Aerobus shuttle), e cel mai ieftin mijloc de transport catre centru (1.4 euro de persoana), plus ca mai vezi orasul. Metroul e 4.5 euro, a fost bun la intoarcere cand ne grabeam la aeroport. Am inchiriat un studio in zona Mercado de Colon (mai precis pe strada Don Juan de Austria) , o zona ideala de cazare, e acces usor catre toate zonele de interes.

In primele ore am vizitat centrul vechi. Arhitectura interesanta, stradute inguste, piatete pline de cafenele si lume. Apoi ne-am intalnit cu gazda noastra care ne-a arata pe harta cum e construita Valencia, ne-a aratat cate zone verzi exista si ce aproape suntem de plaja. Mai ales in weekend ne-a recomandat sa stam pe plaja, acolo merg toti localnicii, orasul e gol pana seara. Ne-a aratat ce bine sunt construite pistele de biciclete prin tot orasul. Si ne-am dat seama ca ar fi pacat sa folosim metroul in zile asa frumoase, drept urmare ne-am inchiriat 2 biciclete (de la Doyoubike , 10 euro / zi /bicicleta 15 euro in weekend). Si nu ne-am oprit din pedalat pana ne-am intors.

Cele mai frumoase mi-au parut Gradinile Turia, acea centura verde care inconjoara orasul la nord-vest. Un parc enorm prin care ajungeam direct la plaja. Placut de pedalat si alergat pe acolo. Portocalii erau inca infloriti. Cred ca asa arata gradinile Raiului. Sau asa sper. nu cred ca poate mirosi mai frumos de atata, a flori de portocal, aroma mea favorita in deserturi.

Parcul e potrivit pentru picnicuri. In drum catre plaja ne opream chiar in fata Orasului Artelor si Stiintelor (ce priveliste spectaculoasa!) si faceam un picnic (sandwichuri cu jamon, chorizitos si cava direct din sticla). Apoi pedalam catre plaja. Acolo e cel mai bun loc sa mananci paella valenciana cu briza pe piele si plaja in fata (noi am mancat la restaurantul Marcelina). Vinul alb la pahar a fost exceptional peste tot si mai ieftin decat la Cluj (2 euro / pahar). La final de masa comandam Agua de Valencia, o bautura preparata din cava, suc de portocale si ceva tarie (vodka sau gin). Numai buna sa te racoresti, desi cam scumputa (20 euro / litru). Pretul nu ne-a oprit insa sa bem cantitati semnificative din aceasta apa, doar trebuia sa ne hidratam

Atentie, in restaurantele de pe plaja, intre orele 13 si 16 nu servesc decat mancare! Adica daca ai chef de o cafea sau o bere ai o mica problema. Cum noi am mancat pe la 13, la 15 ni s-a facut pofta de o cafea. Pe plaja nu prea exista baruri, asa ca am cautat innebuniti un loc unde sa ne dea si noua o cafea. Pana la urma am gasit un bar chiar la capatul plajei (adica cativa km spre capatul falezei la faza asta bicicleta a fost numai buna). La Mas Bonita, un bar dragut, mai hipsteresc asa, dar aveau de toate si foarte bune. Acolo am luat si micul dejun, il recomand.

Daca vreti suc de portocale, cel mai simplu e sa intrati in primul supermarket care va iese in cale, au dozatoare la care iti storci singur portocalele. Ce dulce era sucul, daca nu vedeam eu cum se storc portocalele as fi zis ca adauga zahar in el. Aproape ca nu simteam aroma de portocala de atata dulce.

Si apropo de dulce! Spaniolii astia nu au limita la zahar. Intre masa principala si cina servesc in mod traditional o bautura horchata facuta din alune tigrate (ca un lapte de migdale) atat de dulce de-ti intepenesc dintii. Se spune ca e foarte sanatos, ca e bun pentru digestie, dar atata zahar. nu l-am putut bea. In schimb am mancat batoanele care se servesc langa aceasta bautura, se numesc Fartons, sunt ca niste croissante, la fel de alveolate, dar sub forma de baton. Excelente, intre 3 si 5 bucati la 1 euro. As fi mancat toata ziua. Recunosc ca am facut exces de gluten concediul asta. Ar mai fi cafeau loc super dulce, se numeste cafe bombon, nu am indraznit sa o gust dar lumea era innebunita dupa ea. Personal prefer cafe cortado.

Pentru shopping am avut tot orasul la dispozitie. Parca e un mare mall, magazine peste tot. Pentru delicatese si cadouri am mers in Mercado Central (piata mare) unde am luat orez si sofran pentru paella, masline (le-am vidat ca sa le luam in avion), carnaciori picanti, jamon, ulei de masline, conserve de ton si ansoa, turron de migdale (ca o halva de migdale), alune tigrate (o sa-mi fac eu o horchata fara atata zahar! ), tigai de paella. Aici exista un bar la care se poate manca foarte bine. Valencia mai este cunoscuta pentru ceramica si matase.

Seara am preferat zona Russafa in locul centrului vechi. Fiindca noi nu mancam mult seara, tapas barurile de acolo ni s-au potrivit cel mai bine. Niste ardei fripti si o cerveza mica era suficient. Sau un vino tinto de verano (vin rosu cu limonada si portocale) si niste masline fripte cu usturoi.

Cam asa a fost in Valencia, un weekend lung si placut, o lunga plimbare fara griji si planuri.
